We just wanted to remind you to keep your pressure washer in mind this winter, and help keep it ready for next year! There are some easy things you can do to keep it ready for use when Spring comes along in 90 days! Make sure you remove the hose and gun from the machine. If you find this to be difficult, remember to pull the trigger on the gun to depressurize the system! It should be much easier after that. Coil up the hose and gun, and store them with the electric pressure washer. The water in the gun & hose can freeze and damage the gun seals, requiring you to replace it in a few short weeks when you want to use it! If possible, plug in your pressure washer but do not attach it to your garden hose. Run the pressure washer for 3-5 seconds to purge the excess water out of the pump. Finally, during winter keep your electric pressure washer in a warm area. The water that is left in the pump can freeze, so consider keeping it in an enclosed garage, basement, closet, or indoor storage area – an area that is not below 32º Fahrenheit! These simple steps keep your pressure washer ready for your Spring Cleaning chores!
